The brief

Costa Rica already runs on a grid that is almost entirely renewable, so a CO₂ pitch lands flat. What hotel and restaurant owners actually lose sleep over is the power going down and the bill going up.

So the site had to sell continuity and cost first, and earn trust with sustainability rather than lead with it. It also had to work in Spanish, English and Dutch, rank, and load fast on a phone in a hotel lobby.

What we built

  • A 3D hummingbird that flies the scroll
  • Jungle art that grows as you read
  • A free check with a payback range
  • Payload CMS in three languages

One WebGL canvas stays alive for the whole page. Zumbi flies a curved path from act to act, lands on the cards as they reveal, and leaves a sparkle trail behind him. His wings flap in a vertex shader instead of a rig, so the whole bird is 8,006 triangles, about 188 KB and a single draw call.

He started as three generated concepts in the brand palette. We turned the chosen one into a mesh, then cleaned, oriented and compressed it with our own script.

The canopy borders are built from 102 vector pieces in 18 kinds. They are cut from generated sheets in the measured brand greens and put together at runtime, so every section gets its own growth without adding weight.

The check asks four questions and shows a payback range before it asks for contact details. Nobody gets a sales call before they get an answer.
